Executive Team

Caroline is the Chair of IPUG and has been working in Market Data for over 20 years, across different commercial MDS teams, from administration, business analyst, compliance and procurement teams for multiple companies. She has been in her current position at Chain IQ for the past 8 years, and heads up the Market Data Procurement team for UBS. In her spare time, Caroline runs around for her 3 boys, cooks a lot, and gets to go swimming whenever she can.

Jamie serves as the Head of Global Data Vendor Management at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, a prominent buy-side asset management firm, a position he has held since 2017. Before this, he dedicated five years to leading the EMEA Market Data Management team at J.P. Morgan, focusing on the Corporate and Investment Bank division and honing his expertise in non-real-time market data for fund services. Jamie’s extensive 20-year tenure at J.P. Morgan has endowed him with a wealth of knowledge in financial services, particularly in cost reduction, vendor management, contract negotiations, and mentoring. Outside of work, Jamie is an avid naturalist who enjoys exploring the British countryside with his family. He is also a sports enthusiast, passionately following football, cricket, and golf, the latter of which he plays whenever possible. Jamie’s commitment to the industry is further demonstrated by his role on the IPUG Executive Committee, which he joined in September 2018.

Iman is veteran in the Securities Operations. He worked for Global Custodian Banks and Asset Managers notably Northern Trust, HSBC, abrdn and UBS Asset Management. He specialises in Reference and Market Data Change Management and had managed Operation and Technology teams in London, Chicago and Luxembourg. He chaired IPUG in 2002/3 and presented Data Management topics at Data Financial conferences during this period. Iman gained a MBA in Finance at London CASS Business School and graduated Physics with Computational Mathematics in Edinburgh. He also holds Securities Institute diploma and Investment Management Certificate. He enjoys gym and quality time with his two boys.

Matthew's Market Data career spans 20 years, starting with one of the main vendors and includes the financial institutions of Lloyds Banking Group, as the Head of Market Data, ABN AMRO, Rabobank International and more. His Market Data experience covers the technical, commercial and compliance aspects of market data services across vendors and technologies. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and keeps fit cycling and running. He joined the Exec in May 2017.

Maria brings over a decade of experience to the field of Market Data. Her focus is on understanding and navigating exchange policies, managing costs effectively, ensuring compliance, and making the most of application usage.
